New Database Launched

Two databases are now on-line and available for Surname searches. Both should be considered 'work-in-progress'.

  • The BURIALS database contains transcripts and additional information transcribed from memorials in the churchyards of Aslockton, Scarrington and Whatton-in-the-Vale and the General Cemetery on Mill Lane, Aslockton.
  • The CENSUS database is an on-going project which will contain a transcript for the parishes of Aslockton, Scarrington and Whatton-in-the-Vale.
  • As of today's date the database contains:
    • 1861 - All returns for Whatton-in-the-Vale;
    • 1881 - All returns for Aslockton, Scarrington and Whatton-in-the-Vale;
    • 1901 - All returns for Aslockton and 1 return for Whatton-in-the-Vale.

Access to the database is free for Personal Research Purposes. The data may NOT be used for any commercial purpose.

The databases can be accessed from the 'Database' option on the menu.
