|Pig Club - 28th January 1889|
|The members of the Pig Club and friends had their annual supper on Monday in last week, when Mr. Nix, of the Cranmer Arms Inn, provided an excellent supper. Mr. J. Tomlinson occupied the chair.
After supper, the accounts were read, and the evenig was spent in signing and conviviality.
At ten o'clock the singing of "God save the Queen" concluded a very pleasant gathering.
